I want to thank the committee for inviting us back to attend in our Mom's honor. My sister Candy Carpenter Holden and I are so excited. We got our tags yesterday....YAY
we will see you all at Ducks , Let's get to partying.
Last year was my first time at the Harding/West reunion and it was so much fun that I plan to attend this year.
Anyone from the 1960 or 1961 graduating class attending? Would love to see the senior members of these schools again.

Just wanted to tell everyone that have not been to the reunion at OD -- to GO! Last year was my first year and it was so GREAT - I don't even think there are words to tell you just how great it was to see people I hadn't seen in over 40 years! My gosh, everyone just looks so great and are still the same fun loving great people I remember. So even if you can't remember how to shag -- come on down, I promise you will be glad you did!Looking forward to seeing everyone again in Oct. (Raye Baucom HHS class of 65)
Brenda and I missed the reunion for the first time last year due to me breaking my shoulder and foot falling through the ceiling . That was really dumb!!!! Anyway, we look forward to seeing everyone again. It is a great time. For those of you that know Brenda, she has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and is going through chemo. She will have surgery June 3rd. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. David Hudson West 1967
Looking forward to the reunion and seeing somebody I know
This was my first time but wont be my last, really enjoyed it & thanks to Bob Freeman for making me feel welcom.
This reunion of NOT for only graduates from these 2 schools in the 1960's. IT IS FOR THOSE LUCKY PEOPLE WHO ATTENDED EITHER SCHOOL DURING THE 1960'S. We understand some left early for the Military, moved away, and many other reasons. This is a chance to step back to a happy time for a few days.

Hello everyone, sooo sorry I missed another reunion, wanted to be there so bad, I know I'm having reunion withdrawals. Friends are always in my heart and on my mind. Hope to get there 2010
Just wanted to say -- the committee did another great job with the reunion this year! We really enjoyed it! Hats off to the Committee! I must admit I was a little puzzled about the time of day the Poor Souls played on Saturday!? I don't understand why the played Saturday afternoon and not Saturday night! I heard someone say something about some people want to phase them out all together. I for one, know that it would not be 60's reunion without them there. The Poor Souls are as much a part of this reunion as anyone. I hope the rumor I heard IS NOT TRUE !!! I would be very upset to think the committee gave them the boot!! Sorry, but I had to put my 2 cents worth in!
This was my first time but wont be my last, really enjoyed it & thanks to Bob Freeman for making me feel welcom.
Hello everybody! My new e-mail address is paulkitchens1@gmail.com. I look forward to seeing you in October. Paul Kitchens, class of '69,WM
So glad to hear Steve Howell is attending the reunion this year. Is this your first time attending? I don't remember seeing your name as attendees in years gone by. WELCOME. I look forward to seeing you there.
Hello all! Cannot wait to meet friends at the reunion!!
I would like to thank the Harding & West Reunion Committee for a great reunion. This was my first trip to the reunion and I had a great time. Thanks again.
It didn\'t look like Roger and I were going to make it this year, but things changed and we will be there! Looking forward to seeing everyone from the Class of 65 @ Harding! We should have a few stories to tell after our curise to Alaska with a group from 65 ! See you all in October!

I just happened on this website today and was completely surpised to see that someone had organized something as good as this. After looking at the photo's and seeing Danny Line, Jack McGee, Rocky Walker, and others, I actually sat here and looked at every single photo, read all the messages, and figured that is is about time for me to jin the crowd, if you guys will have me. I did not actually graduate from Harding with my class in 1966. Regardless of what anyone has heard, my family moved to New Orleans and I graduated from East Jefferson High School in NO. I attended Seviersville Elementary, Piedmont Jr. high, Spaugh Jr. high and went to Harding until October when we moved to NO. Over the years I've ran tinto people from "bcak in the day" and some have told me that heard I was dead, in prision, etc., etc. Nope, I'm still here, although I have had two heart attacks. Class of 1966
Looking forward to Harding/West reunion 2009. Graduated WMHS '62. Hope to see lots of familiar faces.
HELLO TO ALL THE HARDING "RAMS" AND WEST "INDIANS" OF THE 50\'S AND 60\'S. I ATTENDED THE 2010 REUNION WITH FRIENDS FROM HHS AND TO SAY WE HAD A BALL IS PUTTING IT MILDLY. THIS WAS OUR FIRST REUNION BUT WILL NOT BE OUR LAST. WE ARE ALREADY MAKING PLANS FOR THIS OCTOBER. MY FRIENDS AND I WERE \'57, \'59, AND \'60 GRADS BUT WERE MADE TO FEEL AT HOME WITH THE REST OF YOU. SO MAKE PLANS TO COME, NO MATTER WHAT YEAR YOU GRADUATED, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. SEE YOU IN OCTOBER, 2011. "I CAN SMELL THE HOT DOGS AND FRENCH FRIES THEY SELL, UNDER THE BOARDWALK", AND THE BEACH MUSIC LIVES ON IN 2011. "MOTT" BULLARD, ARZELLE LYONS BROCK, GAIL DELLINGER TURNER, AND LYNDIA MCCORKLE BAILEY.
Since our Cruise to Alaska with a group from Harding class of 65 - I am looking forward to the reunion even more than before! What a wonderful time we had! It really gave me a chance to get to know some even better than before. The reunion will allow me to get to know even more of you! Can\'t wait!
The reunion of 2011 was my first... and I\'ll never miss another one. It was the best time I\'ve had in more years than I can count. It couldn\'t have been any better.
The Harding-West Reunion is simply the best on the beach. Other schools try to imitate, but they never duplicate. Is it the skills of Larry, Joanna, and the rest of their great committee? Or is it just the special "Westside Love" that makes our reunion the best? I think it is a combination of both!
Hello hello - I just sent in my RSVP as well as my 2 brothers and their wives. I am ready and looking forward to it.
I had to leave the beach today and wait another year before the next reunion. If you have not attended any of the great events at the reunion, you are missing a wonderful time and fellowship!!! Please plan to attend at least one of the reunions. Lots of fun and things to do!!! Thanks to the committee for an excellent event with fun, activities, food, and good friends!!! In the bond till next year!!!
Looking forward to the BBQ
Looking forward to Harding/West reunion 2009. Graduated WMHS '62. Hope to see lots of familiar faces.
My memories of Bobby Smith include the times that he, Scott Burns, Mary Jane Johnson, Mary Ellen Keathley, and I think Butch Stone came over to my house on Highland Street and we would shag and 1 time Bobby\'s elbow went so high it knocked the globes out of our chandelier and broke 2 of them. We laughed so hard. The Poor Souls were special. I1968 was my senior year and I went to Harding and West
Just a hello to all 1960 West Meck Grads.

I also look forward to seeing familiar faces as well.
