Just registered for the 2013 Reunion for myself (WM '69)  and husband Steve Howell (Harding '66).  Steve will be playing golf on Saturday, while i enjoy the beach!  Looking forward to seeing everybody!

575 days until I retire and spend the rest of my life at my house in Myrtle Beach!  Where else would a West Mecklenburg grad (1965) retire?  I spent many vacations at OD.

I am so looking forward to this year's reunion!  I missed last year due to my husbands love for fast cars we were at Road Atlanta for the Petit LeMans - usually it was the week-end before the reunion, but now they are on the same week-end!  Which is a total bummer!  So --- this year my husband will watch the Petit and I will visit with old friends.  If you have never attended one of these reunions, you don't know what you're missing!  When I went to the first one - I was unsure of what to expect!  Beleive me you will have a blast and at our age Blast come far and few between!  So come on out and enjoy and rekindle old friendships !!  I promise you will not be disappointed! Love to you all!

Harding Class of \'62 had our 50th Reunion last weekend.  The reunion committee did another outstanding job of getting our class together for a weekend of  fellowship.   While we didn\'t want the time together to end last weekend, we had the Harding West Reunion to look forward to...so hope  to see many of our classmates again at this fun time in Ocean Drive.   A shout-out to the Harding/West Reunion Committee...thanks for keeping this event going each year!!!  So many people look forward to it every October...it wouldn\'t happen without y\'all\'s hard work.  Thank you!  

i am NOT dead! and believe me....eating at the Penguin sure beats prison food! been at another demo show in atlantic city of k/masters, kick boxers, and cow dung champions...admiring Cy Rothrock and others of skills i once had similarity in. big times coming in october!!!! meaning h/s reunion! everyone WILL attend! i would, but can\'t remember the way down. or, where north m/beach is. but i do know where garden city is!charlie

Hi Friends,I went to Berryhill Elementary, Wilson Jr. High, and two years at West Meck. before my family moved to Davidson.  I graduated from North Meck. in 1966.  Would enjoy hearing from any friends who knew me during those school years.John Christian

 The West/Harding Reunion at the beach is so much fun and I\'m affraid I will have to miss it this year.  Medicare changed the Annual Enrollment period to Oct. 15th to Jan. 7th.  This is when I work seven days a week for Humana as a sales agent.  I\'m going to try and come on Saturday, but I will have to wait and see what my work load is.  I know all who go are going to have a wonderful time.  I have heard many classmates that have never attended a reunion before will be going this year.  It is a special time with so many memories and fondness for our class.  I hope to be retired next year when the AEP comes around so if the good Lord is willing and I don\'t get to come this year, I will see you in 2012.  HAVE A GREAT TIME!

Where do we stay for the reunion?

I missed the last two years and really missed seeing everyone.  Diane will not be coming but I am bring a friend of ours with us who attended when Diane and I got married at the reunion, John Atkinson.  He and his wife has be to several other reunion events in the past including the Poor Souls back when they played at Vinnies and Mount Island.  As always really looking forward to another great reunion.Sonny
