Just a hello to all 1960 West Meck Grads.
hello to all \'66 west meck grads
Hey, just wanted to say hello to all the HHS 65 classmates. It\'s been a loooooooooog time!!!
Anyone from WMHS class of \'61 going to reunion?
It's been ages to see old friends since graduating from West Meck in '67...I've never been able to make a reunion because of being out of state and raising 5 kids and teachiing school...Perhaps someday we will be able to make vacation plans around this.
I attended West Mecklenburg High School, 1962 graduate. Some of my favorite memories have been from this school, I will never forget them.
Hello from Beth Beecroft (former motor mouth...actually...still a motor mouth). I have never attended any reunion after disappearing for forty plus years...the classes of 1968 survived quite nicely. I went to Park or Berryhill with many of you...and then Wilson Jr High and finally West Meck and got drafted to Olympic and finally off to a private school in Arizona for my senior year. I have not been back to North Carolina since 1967...but have plans to be in the area next spring thanks to finding an old friend and having a 60th birthday looming inthe distance. No promises about future reunions...but I will try...as I heard everyone had a blast and it is so funny to be able to put a face on names from so very long ago...just like it was yeterday. Life is good...
Bobby, We will never forget you.. The Poor Souls gave us so many happy memories from past reunions.... OD reunions wlll not be same .... Your deep bass voice and sense of humor will be forever a part of OD reunions.... Go rest high on that mountain.... IN THE BOND, my friend. Peggy
So many memories rush foreward all of a sudden, did I smother so much and idealize so much more? I hope the only memories you have had were percious and heart warming.. most of mine were. Hope some day to leave the vrigid nort to see the Carolinas once again, havent been there in 20 years. pushing 60 is no fun, how about all of you? My best to all of you who also survived the sixties and are helping the Grand generation to find purpose to their lives. Lets not forget to let them know how beautiful and special they are I look back at that girl and only remember the lack of confidence and the fear related to the future, so little hope. Wanda

Anyone from the 1960 or 1961 graduating class attending? Would love to see the senior members of these schools again.
Hello everyone, sooo sorry I missed another reunion, wanted to be there so bad, I know I'm having reunion withdrawals. Friends are always in my heart and on my mind. Hope to get there 2010
Just wanted to say -- the committee did another great job with the reunion this year! We really enjoyed it! Hats off to the Committee! I must admit I was a little puzzled about the time of day the Poor Souls played on Saturday!? I don't understand why the played Saturday afternoon and not Saturday night! I heard someone say something about some people want to phase them out all together. I for one, know that it would not be 60's reunion without them there. The Poor Souls are as much a part of this reunion as anyone. I hope the rumor I heard IS NOT TRUE !!! I would be very upset to think the committee gave them the boot!! Sorry, but I had to put my 2 cents worth in!
The Reunion Committee outdid themselves this year---it was another wonderful event! I am so proud of the Harding Class of 1962 for the great turnout this year. Thanks, too, to the Harding '62 Committee for the great 65th birthday party at the Avista!
Calling all Harding Rams! Come on down to Ocean Drive and join old friends and classmates as we celebrate the good times of today, as well as the great times growing up on the Westide in the 50's and 60's. Don't worry about whether the people you hung out with in high school are coming-----there will be so many other cool people there from Harding and West, that you will have a great time, regardless!

Hello all! Cannot wait to meet friends at the reunion!!
I unfortunately missed my senior year because of a move to SC..I really missed out on a lot of my high school fun at West and would love to see some of my old friends again...Sincerely, David
It has been a long time since I've been on the site. Wow, it has changed. Looks nice.
Looking for Judy Treadway...Does anyone have her address (snail mail or e-mail )?
I am looking forward to this reunion.
I just happened on this website today and was completely surpised to see that someone had organized something as good as this. After looking at the photo's and seeing Danny Line, Jack McGee, Rocky Walker, and others, I actually sat here and looked at every single photo, read all the messages, and figured that is is about time for me to jin the crowd, if you guys will have me. I did not actually graduate from Harding with my class in 1966. Regardless of what anyone has heard, my family moved to New Orleans and I graduated from East Jefferson High School in NO. I attended Seviersville Elementary, Piedmont Jr. high, Spaugh Jr. high and went to Harding until October when we moved to NO. Over the years I've ran tinto people from "bcak in the day" and some have told me that heard I was dead, in prision, etc., etc. Nope, I'm still here, although I have had two heart attacks. Class of 1966
Howdy, I am looking forward to the reunion at OD. Old friends are a treasure.
Hello Classmates, It has been many years since I've seen or been in contact with my classmates of HHS 66. If any of you remember me I would love to hear from you and see what you've been up to. Ellida
Brenda and I missed the reunion for the first time last year due to me breaking my shoulder and foot falling through the ceiling . That was really dumb!!!! Anyway, we look forward to seeing everyone again. It is a great time. For those of you that know Brenda, she has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and is going through chemo. She will have surgery June 3rd. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. David Hudson West 1967
I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I hope you all have a wonderful trip and reunion. I have not seen anyone in years, but think of you all often. HHS'66
I hope to be at this reunion with a new lady. Looking forward to seeing some of you" OLD PEOPLE" again.

1966 graduate of Harding. Never been to a class reunion. Know it would be lots of fun seeing all of you. Live in Indian Trail, NC. My husband of 42 years ( from NY) thought the shag was a style of carpet back in the 60's ha! ha!. I don't think I would be able to sit still for one minute. Hope you all have a blast. Dot Dean Dandrow
I've only seen a few classmates since graduation. So, hey everybody. After I graduated from college as a nurse, I lived hither and yon--Nebraska and Texas then back home where the grass is green and there are TREES! I went back to college several times and went into critical care then emergency room. Finally, I retired from nursing and pursued the writing career I always wanted. I have three published books now and two that I'm working on at present. I have a website: www.sarahmcneal.com I still play the violin--not all that well though and I learned how to play the bagpipes. My neighbors can testify that I'm not that great in that either since they're really loud--and annoying. ha ha I'll have to come back and check on you guys to see what others have been doing. God, has it been 44 years since graduation? Feelin' kinda decrepit now. All good things to your corner of the universe. Sally
Oh yeah, almost forgot. I graduated from West class of 1965. Sally
